I really don't get all the negative comments about the Duke Of Cambridge.
Yes the food is expensive, it's organic, ethically sourced and sustainably produced. That will never be cheap. If you want Turkey twizzlers then go to KFC!
The beer is good and well kept. The fact that the pub is always busy argues against all the poor comments here.

I'd agree with Rob372 that the service can be a bit iffy but it is a nice pub serving good beer and food in a really nice setting.

Proper pub. The fact that it is nearly always busy speaks volumes.
If they could change the ale selection slightly more often it would be perfect but otherwise a great place.

Great beer, great food and generally a lovely looking pub.
Shame they felt the need to kick us out at 2220 just because the pub was quiet. They were quite happy to take our money for some food but as soon as that was finished the pub closed!
Could be great but clearly badly run.

Disney's Olde Thatched Inn, Ilfracombe
More of a restaurant than a pub. Nice setting and good ales.
Food is simple pub grub but very good.

Excellent pub. Visited a few weeks ago for the first time.
Great food and beer. Missing out on Special is no great loss considering the other great beers they had on offer.

I can't agree more with the comments about the rude staff.
Food was good beer good side of average but the attitude of the staff amazed me.
They're service was slow and plates were banged down on the table and orders totally forgotten.
When we payed the bill I waited for a good 15 minutes before taking the bill & two cards to the waitress. I asked her to split the bill (�90) but she basically told me to go away and work out exactly how much on each card! Err 50/50!
When we didn't tip they became very arsey to the point where one waitress informed is that she felt it wasn't the sort of place for us.
Well it certainly won't be any more. I wouldn't bother.

As everywhere is else in Putney is getting better. It's a shame that the Fez is still a stinking dump!!!!!

This is no way the best pub in Meribel.
It's is destroyed by the likes of Le Post and Les Enfants @ 1600.
Le Pub is just full of young arrogant English Seasoners.

The Edinburgh Cellars, Newington Green
I nice pub now it's been refurbished and starting to get busier.
Ales are very well kept. Just needs to start serving some food.
