The Chequers, Walton On The Hill
We enjoyed a very good Sunday lunch here today. The servings were generous and the food was well cooked. Excellent value! The beer was good too!

Beautiful location and good beer but the food is overpriced and not particularly good. On a summer's day the pub is very busy and the service for food is very slow.The staff don't seem able to cope and don't care.

A great pub! Good beer, friendly staff and good food. We have been there for a family birthday dinner and everyone found something on the menu they enjoyed. The staff made every feel welcome and it was a great evening.

My elderly mother came here for lunch last week. She enjoys eating out and ordered the fish and chips but the fish was inedible. It was overcooked and had the texture of cardboard. She left it uneaten and when the waiter cleared away the plates she told him it was the worst fish she has been served.
He did not offer a refund!

This is a really nice London pub. The pies are good but would be better if they served them a bit hotter!
