The Fighting Cock, Bradford

Every time I visit I can ask the staff about the beer and will find a few that I'm glad I tried plus a few old favourites. Basic seating, very basic toilets, it doesn't matter because its all about the beer! I used to live in Bradford, I think its the FC I miss the most, its certainly the spot I always revisit.

Tap and Spile, Harrogate

Always a good selection of real ales. Would be nice if they were a bit cheaper. Molly the spaniel is daft and cute. 3rd Wednesday of the month there is a spoken word night: Poems, Prose & Pints. I have to recommend that, I'm one of the organisers ;)

The Regency, Harrogate

Since the management or owners changed a few months ago this pub has seen a lot of investment. The decor has improved massively, the ladies toilets just aren't recognisable thanks to the upgrade. On the edge of town, its prices are better than town centre. I find it a friendly place to pop in to in the day time, and there's a lot more happening nowadays too. The Thursday Jam night attracts a good crowd.

Little Wonder Hotel, Harrogate

This is now a curry restaurant.

The Blues Bar, Harrogate

A great atmosphere, live music every night and some lunchtimes too. Shame that it is so small! The mural up the stairs is very well done. The Egyptian restaurant upstairs, The Blue Nile, is worth booking for a party because the food is delicious. Best enjoyed on a sunny afternoon when you can wander out onto the Stray.
