Further to my last comment regarding this pub, I believe it has gone down in my estimation! The visit that I posted a comment about was most enjoyable,however, I visited again and having bought my rather expensive lager I went to the outdoor seating area only to be "put upon" by a somewhat horrid 'old drunken bag lady type" with a hacking smokers cough who insisted on talking to me & would not take the hint that I wanted to be on my own!
Im really suprised that the Glasshouse with its new image etc would even let her walk through the door given her appearance, needless to say it was the quickest pint i've ever drunk!
I wont be back!

I know someone who visited this crap hole lately in the late afternoon for some light refreshment after work, he was attacked without reason and ended up in the hospital! Be warned!

To be short and sweet, this is a great pub (if not a little pricey), the bar staff
are friendly,helpful. The loos are kept in pristine condition (unlike the other
pubs in NM), Nice enviroment to have a drink/ meal with friends without
being surrounded idiots effing & spitting all over the place. You get whats you pay for--the Glasshouse gets my vote everytime!

This 'Public House' is the worst pub I have visited for years! Pig ignorant
bar staff who I think must have been told by the company to make thier customers feel un-welcome as possible, the place was full of loud mouth
druken yobs and thier offspring who were just as bad, the toilets were disgusting & the whole place had an air of hostility about it, Im not surprised that someone wrote that there were fights regularly in this dump.
If your planning to visit this hole keep driving --theres plenty of choice in all directions--Kingston, Wimbledon & W-Park,go somewhere else, its that simple!!

Hi pubsentry, no I didnt enjoy it, in fact if I go into that hole again I will do the honourable thing and order a service revolver and a bottle of Guiness!

This place is a toilet,at the weekend its full of chavs effing and blinding everywhere, spitting all over the place when they smoke outside. The toilets (mens) are disgusting, daubed in graffiti, non existent loo seats,and toilet roll thats left on the floor and covered in peoples bodily fluids, I assume this is because the loo roll dispenser has been torn off the wall by one of the boneheads and never been replaced, the bar staff seem happy & cheerful enough though. The lager if they havnt run out (again) is quite reasonably priced as is some of the food. I have never seen a manager in there perhaps thats why the place has door staff at the weekends either to keep him in or out! This could be a great bar but needs to be managed more effectivley--to be avoided Fri Sat & Sunday eves-if you do go there then wear a protective suit to avoid the spit!

The Royal Oak, New Malden
I popped in tha Oak for a couple of quiet pints a few weekends ago, I must say that its not a bad pub. On this occasion however there was a dog barking its head off and running around on the seats (inside the pub) it was making such a racket and annoying other customers but the owners or the barstaff didn't seem to care.
I didn't stay!
