The George, Temple

The George is in fact part of Capital Pub Company, a freehold section of Greene King.

Ye Olde Cock Tavern, Fleet Street

extrememly disinterested staff, even though it was almost empty i felt like i was imposing asking for a couple of drinks. also i had a truly awful pint of guinness. i usually stay and try an ale when im in a pub around here but i didnt even risk it in this place so i cant comment. i hope i just caught them on a bad day, but i won't be back in a hurry to find out.

The Cheshire Cheese, Temple

a very good little pub, not notable for the real ales but they do indeed to a great pint of guinness! One of my favourite pubs in the area. my typical night out is to visit here the george and the edgar wallace all within 100 yards of eachother. They are all quite different but have good staff, good beers and we always have a good nights craic!

The Old Bank of England, Fleet Street

I agree about finding a table, the only ones available seemed to be outside but it was a bit cold!! The beers are kept very well and the bar looks fantastic, but i found the atmosphere a bit lacking. a good spot, but not really my taste.

Good atmosphere, the staff were pretty good considering there was seemingly only a couple working and the place was quite full. The ales available were from sharps, adnams and sambrooks with one tap unused. the beer was of a good standard and I found it to be quite reasonably priced and consistent with other local pubs as the doombar was 3 a pint and the Adnams 3.20.
