yeh good clean pub,perfect for the sports enthusiast,loads of plasma tvs so you won't miss a goal,the foods ok and the ice cream belt buster with the warm muffins is 2 die 4,but they should invest in some proper glasses cuz most of the drinks are served in the wrong ones,especially the guinness,served in a bitter glass is not on,and the lagers sometimes served in the wrong glass making the drink look flat,get some widgets 4 your glasses and you've cracked it

good pub good beer gr8 atmosphere bogs r dodgy especially in winter,but that pub should never change it's appearance,thats wot makes the bird and the staff are mint

this place has changed quite alot in recent months,the landlord has has updated the decor"at his own expense"and turned it into a more modern engine rm look,i think past tenants have scarred the cock and made it difficult 4 the present 1 2 get the old cock back,but not 4 the want of trying.I think old customers of the cock would b pleasantly surprised at the new look cock

It`s a little unfair 2 slate the buck like this,it's a good pub with a friendly atmosphere,yes there is trouble now and again but no more than anywhere else,as 4 druggies u show me a pub in leek that has'nt got them.The licencees try their best with the decor,but it still does'nt put the punters off it's a very busy pub with gr8 staff old and young and does better than some pubs even without the fancy decor

have'nt been in 4 a while got bored of the menu although it was nice,needs changing more often,but in general a nice quiet place 4 a nice meal
