The Punch Bowl, Mayfair

Dragged kicking and screaming here last week by the missus, she wanted to go there (honest!) as it was guys and madges pub. Very busy quite expensive and very dirty, some ales on tap but had a rough guinness instead. Full of loud knobs who would like to be mr ritchies mate, work in city/west end talk mockney sniff too much and think they're better and harder than the average man. Mmm.No return. Nice little pub round the corner though but can't remember its name (8 pints may have something to do with that)

The Taps, Enfield

Popped in for a jar the other night on way home. This pub has gone down hill. I know lots of pubs have got a lot quieter in the last 6 months but quiet and with a menacing few customers. Still, drank a couple before deciding to head out as started to get pestered by a loud mouth coke head. Won't return.

The Fox Public House, Palmers Green

Was in over the weekend and had a lovely time, band was good too. Snowed off Monday so popped in for a jar, lovely real log fire and great thai food. Warmed me cockles!

james learn how to spell, then please go and see a doctor about your mental state as its clearly been effected by the array of microwaves installed in the kitchen. The pub is totally souless and crap. Great if your a 15yr old boy who wears his trousers half way down his arse and cant leave his phone alone and has to shout into it every time a call is made. Rest my case.

Thought I'd give it a go on wed night, wish I hadn't. Lots of youngsters with trousers hanging down round their knees full of attitude other customers nursing cheap pints. Service slow, very slow. Food was from packet and must have missed the microwave as was cold. Guinness was average/poor. Just another souless JDW outlet. Is that smoking area even legal? Won't be rushing back. Other good pubs in the area.

The Fox Public House, Palmers Green

Really enjoyed myself on sunday, great atmosphere, fantastic carvery like what mum used to make. All ages in here and nothing like the fox of old, full of idiots and attitude, decent people now. Beer was good ate too much and watched some mad irish game with sticks where anything goes as well as the footie. Staff were quick and polite. got to haunt this place on sundays from now, must try a weekend night!
