The Prince of Wales, Kensington

Only went here once during my three-week stay in London, but had a great time. The atmosphere was very friendly, boistrous, and fun. Don't really remember the prices all that much, but I do remember the people being great.

The Builders Arms, Kensington

The food was pretty good, as was the alcohol on tap. Didn't frequent it as much as I did a few of the other pubs, but still enjoyed my trips there.

Archangel, Kensington

The prices were a bit over-the-top, but the atmosphere and bartenders helped to make me forget about that. Two of the women bartenders in the main area (not the basement) were two of the friendliest people I've ever met. The downstairs area was also pretty cool, especially when there was a live band playing.

The Greyhound, Kensington

I was studying abroad in London for three weeks back in May - June. Having never been to the UK or to a UK pub for that matter, I was unbelievably surprised (happily) by the Greyhound. My friends and I would often go there as often as we could during our short stay there. The bartenders were all extremely friendly, courteous, and enjoyable. I think that most of them have left by now, but both them and the pub itself helped to make my trip memorable.

Also - I've gotten Strongbow here at Whole Foods, but it doesn't taste nearly as good as it did from the tap at the Greyhound.

All in all, an absolutely wonderful pub that I've been missing since returning to the States.
