William Stanley, South Norwood

Visited a few times and always serves a refreshing beer and I never have to wait very long to get served. It's a very good after match pub also and it was the start of a very nice after match pub crawl through Norwood Junction afer one match a coue of years ago.

Still the same as it ever was and one to try before a game at Selhurst also.

The Lord Napier, Thornton Heath

Friendly bar staff and you don't wait too long to get served either. If your going to a football match at Selhurst Park it's this one or the Cherry Trees ! this pub has pleny of room inside which helps when busy and it is usually mixed on match days away and home fans.

The Duke of York, Borough

Used to be a really nice pub very relaxed and you could take your time ording drinks and picking your spot to sit.

It's a bit like the movie the beach you find a nice perfect place and then realise everyone else has turned up and spoilt it.

Now it's too busy on Friday nights, elbow room only.

The Cartoonist, Holborn

I sometimes go here for a lunchtime beer to get away from the hussle and bussle of work, nice friendly bar staff always willing to chat and have a laugh with you.

I tryed a pint of Kronenburg while in there, the Kronenburg was nice and chilled to perfection and has to be one of the best pints I've had in London so I had another.

Nice quiet pub ideal for lunch and a nice pint on your own or with someone else, it has a nice beer garden surround.
