I brought around 8 workmates here this afternoon for a pint, some pool and a decent lunch. What I got was a rude joke at my expense from the old barman, an additional 50p charge because I used my debit card, a gassy pint and an overpriced burger which was clearly bought from a supermarket.

I have been in worse pubs (can't recall them at the moment) and I, or the people I brought along will ever be back.

Just not a good pub.

Because it was only early i thought a pint of lager shandy was a good idea. How wrong can you be? I was charged the price of a pint of lager plus 90p for a splash of lemonade!

good bar staff, beer fine but overpriced, small and can be very overcrowded at times

Weak, weak pub - beer distinctly mediocre, outlandishly expensive, dingy and characterless inside. Go elsewhere.
