Arrived on Saturday afternoon at 1pm after the Lord Mayor's Parade. Doors locked, nothing to suggest the pub was shut on Saturdays, people inside gave a thumbs down. Well that makes two of us. Fortunately we got a warm welcome at the Old Red Cow.

Finally got around to visiting this pub.

I found it a bit bland and didn't like the choice of music.

Wouldn't rush back.

I really enjoy this pub.Its not mutch to look at but the landlord and his staff try there best.The atmosphere is always good and its clean.None stop 80.s music makes it a fantastic place to unwind.Always serves great beer,best real ale in the area.

I have been using this pub for about three months now.I pop in for lunch two or three times a week,basic food but cheap and tasty,very good Harveys Bitter.I also visit with a few friends on a friday night.Great mixture of customers with a happy party atmosphere.Very good all round pub.
