reasonable place. wouldn't go for the food, but it's definitely one of the nicer places in the area

The Palm Tree, Mile End

Been to this place a couple of times, it has a great location by the canal, and the atmosphere is quite pleasant.

However last time the landlord tried to shortchange us. In the end he did give us the correct change, but this wasn't the first time, it happened with a friend before, he even tried it with other customers the same evening. Bizarre, not as if the place seems struggling. Shame as the other bar staff seemed nice, but I won't be returning.
