The Old Crown, Deritend

Use to use it regularly. Not anymore. Better pubs with better service nearby. Can do without the absence of enough staff on mid-week evenings.

The Spread Eagle, Acocks Green

Decent pub. Good inexpensive food. A variety of beers at realistic prices. Bar staff are usually OK but do occasionally leave customers waiting. Now deveoping in to a cross bettween a friendly local and a well run chain pub. Overall a good pub.

The Old Bill and Bull, Yardley

Brilliant. Consistently well kept and inexpensive wide range of beers, friendly atmosphere and good company. Everything a good pub should be.

The Britannia Inn, Tyseley

Not what it was. The bar is almost empty for most of the week and the lounge regularly shuts. The pub is infested with chavs from Thursday to Sunday. It was the best pub for miles around. Most of the regulars now go to The Spread Eagle,The Lady Westminster or the local clubs. Second most expensive pub in the area.
