went into this pub with my cousin for the first time. had one bloke staring me out sitting in the front bar for ages, had a drunken woman fall across my lap screamin her head off, went to the gents and there was a guy who had been snorting cocaine in the cubicle being dragged out by his hair and shouted at. bar staff very good despite all this. angie babs is right. why would i want to drink in this atmos? all you people saying its a great pub............you need a brain transplant!

This pub is a very welcoming pub, staff are friendly and have a laugh, everyone is made to feel welcome. My partner and I have drunk there for years on occasions and have never had a bad drink.

The customers are all varied, and all ages, not much trouble but on occasions like any pub you do get the few idiots.

They have good entertainment throughout the week which is very welcoming, and as for the decor, the last man said it needed work, but the decor is absolutely fine and a very smart clean bar area.

The only downfall i would say for this pub is that the manager allows and tolerates certain people ruling the pub and sorting trouble out, whereas it's these people that are the trouble. I have seen many a thing that these people do which is wrong and it makes my blood boil, they think they are the bill and bull mafia.

There are also things that go on regularly in the mens toilet which is'nt legal which has a blind eye turned to it because of who is doing it, which again is wrong. It's like they are scared to bar them, such a shame because excellent apart from this.

The two other reviewers must be talking about a different Old Bill and Bull, The last beer i had there was warm and i dont think the place has seen a lick of paint since it was built,Awful but must admit to having friendly staff.
