Tanners Hall, Darlington

Typical spoons, probally best avoided on a Friday and Saturday night as its full of the brain dead "bottle of bud" brigade, otherwise food and beer quality are okay, typical spoons service, do they really employ staff from Mcdonalds as the service can sometimes be painfully slow, has the anoying policy of having all the pump clips facing the customer and when you ask for whats displayed you get told "sorry we only have Directors or smooth"

Number 22 Alehouse and Canteen, Darlington

Excellent pub, impressive range of real ales and now a good range of foreign beers (Erdinger, Veltins, Leffe to name a few) on draught and a large selection of wines for the girls, Village brewer beers (brewed by Hambleton) are A1, the higher gravity beers tend to be expensive but the beers are served in lined glasses, excellent staff this place can be bursting at the seams but the service is second to none.

The Quaker Coffee House, Darlington

The best pub in Darlo, impressive range of real ales with the majority being from micro's countrywide, this place and Number 22 round the corner ensure that everyday is a beer festival in Darlo

The Willoughby Arms, Kingston Upon Thames

Well worth the visit, great beer fest, only moan was the amount of time it took to get served at the bar, at least the barman was apologised for the delay
