I am surprised this pub doesnt get more good reviews, its an excellent pub ran by a genuine old school eccentric landlord.

Place not terrible... but the customers.... they kill the place. Is this Clapham or Kennsington, or the South of France...

Decided its time to not only read whats on this great site but post as well....
Well this is a pub i use alot, it may not be the best pub in London or even close, but its certainly a proper London pub and better than any of its local competition....
It attracts a great mix of sound people... and serves okish drinks.
I certainly have many fond memories of this place

Nice old school pub, staff friendly and customers are mixed bunch... on the beer front, only Brewers gold that interests me as have no time for Fullers, but that doesnt matter because Crouch Vale make a beautiful beer.....
