Ye Old Toye, Hampton Court

I've lived in Molesey for nearly 8 years and have never heard of this pub. I suspect it does not actually exist.

Previous reviewer may have entered the incorrect location or name?

The Angel, Thames Ditton

Very pleasant pub to spend a sunny evening at; tables both out-front and in the garden area behind. Bar staff (who I assume were the landlord/lady) very friendly and welcoming.

London Pride was maybe on the way out, but both the Youngs and Hooky were pretty tasty. On the whole, very nice. Will be visiting again.

The Bell, East Molesey

Have always found this to be a pretty good pub for a beer; normally a good choice, and one of the rare pubs that often have Old Peculier on tap.

Used to be excellent for food too (the main reason I started visiting this place), but a couple of years ago they contracted it out and it's really gone downhill, which is a shame.

The Mitre, Hampton Court

No proper ale in sight - and drinks overpriced enough to put me off popping in unless going for dinner.
Food is pretty good though; enjoyed a pretty decent attempt at moule-frites on my last visit.

Prince of Wales, Hampton Court

Much improved in the last couple of years - probably my first choice near Hampton Ct these days.

Nothing special for beer, but a nice place to come for a casual dinner.

The Lamb, Surbiton

Nice pub with bags of character, and a very tasty pint of Sambrooks Junction.
But >4 for a pint? Seriously?
To be honest I'll tend to avoid this place in future, and this is only because the beer is so unreasonably expensive.

The Boars Head, Brecon

Spent a few hours in here on a Sunday night; busier than most places would be. Pub has a late license (until 1am most nights I think). Outside seating overlooking the river is nice for sunny evening.

Ales were tasty and well-kept; as you'd expect from a pub that has won CAMRA awards relatively recently. Bar staff very friendly.

The Enterprise, Chalk Farm

Not a good pub if you're into your Ales; they only had one when I was there. Having said that it was kept pretty well.

Very friendly, efficient staff - get served fairly sharpish even when it's busy.

Generally a decent, if basic, place for a beer. Worth keeping an eye on what bands/DJs are on; whether you want to see it or avoid it.

The Princess of Wales, Primrose Hill

Didn't have a problem getting a table on a Sunday lunchtime. The pub is larger than appears from the photos, since there is more space in the basement and a courtyard behind the pub too. Smarter than most pubs, nicely done out without losing its 'pubiness' (yes, I mean pub-iness, not pube-iness).

I would heartily recommend the roast dinners; roasties not all that, but the rest was fantastic. No major complaints about the beer; averagely expensive for the area.

Main disappointment was the staff. Generally inattentive (you may need to raise your voice to get noticed, even when no other customers at the bar) and woefully incompetent when trying to move customers and tables so the jazz band could set-up in the corner of the bar. I dread to think how they cope when it's busy...
