Luuuurve this place !!! Very glam upstairs bar with chandeliers, piano and marble bar but the real secret (oops!) is the cool cocktail bar downstairs. Service is very good and it's great to have somewhere glam to go in my neighbourhood !

The beer garden is probably what sells the pub - that and the proximity to the park. It is an ideal place to chill out in the Summer, although it can get a bit rammed at weekends. I've been going on and off for about ten years and, aside from the customers looking younger, not much has changed ! The intermittend BBQ is good, although sometimes the service can be a littel slow.

Been going to this pub for years and have seen it change hands several times. Love the food - the Jerk Chicken is great, good selection of drinks and the music on the whole is great ! Loved the fact that one of the bar staff had an MC5 T-Shirt on ! As everyone else says though the service is the only thing that lets it down. Some of the bands they have on acoustic nights are well above the average standard.

I go to this pub regularly for Sunday lunch and have encountered very few of the problems which other people have. They do an excellent Sunday roast (if a tad pricey) but the back garden on a Summer's day is lovely. The decor has that 'well loved' feeling. The service can sometimes be a tad slow but that is usually due to demand at the bar, which proves they must be doing something right !!!

Have now finished with drinking in this pub. I have no idea why they don't put more bar staff on - it's just a nightmare to get served !!
