The Old White Lion, East Finchley

Good enough but The Stag is better. Having said that The Stag does have its fair share of annoying locals - such as the chap who sits at the bar every afternoon drinking lager followed by rose wine. He's an odd little fella - he only seems capable of speaking to bar staff and, despite wearing Nike trainers and being in his 40s with a notable bald patch, still thinks he is God's gift (think a plumper version of Dev on Corrie). Anyways I digress.....actually now I come to think of it I may start going to the White Lion to avoid him. If you know who he is post something on here......

Gertie Brownes, East Finchley

Wonderful pub for locals and visitors alike. reflects the charm of East Finchley - a thriving part of North London with all the benefits of friendly residents.

The Dick Turpin, East Finchley

If you are after a true local - you have found it. Young media types are as welcome as OAPs - everyone is friendly and there is always someone to chat with. Or, if you prefer, enjoy a quiet drink with your friends. Can't recommend this place enough - a true gem. All those people lucky enough to live near it (ie: in those posh two bed two bath type flats) don't know how lucky they are! I have to walk 1.5 miles to get here but it's still worth it!

The Bald Faced Stag, East Finchley

Please ignore bad reviews on here. This is a truly great place with great staff. Young folk (ie: media and city types) dominate - that much is true. But is that a bad thing? Great food and a good range of beer - plus it has an atmosphere. One of the main attractions of East Finchley.....
