The Pillars of Hercules, Soho

Unremarkable chain type place. Does a job i suppose but nothing special.

The Bricklayers Arms, Fitzrovia

Fantastic find just a stones throw from Oxford St. We went here on Sunday afternoon and spent a relaxed hour or so supping the excellent stout. Highly recommended.

The Apollo, Marylebone

Dreadful. Venue of the worst pint of Guinness i've ever had the misfortune to consume. You'll feel your soul being sapped from your body on entering. Avoid. Far, far, far better options nearby.

The Assembly House, Kentish Town

Really like this place. Beautiful inside and when the sun is shining its bright and airy. Food was a little pricey for what you get but friendly barstaff and good beer.

The Abbey, Kentish Town

Called in last weekend after a day in Regents Park. Nice & comfy interior and a lovely outdoor bit with roof terrace type affair. One of the best in Kentish Town without doubt.

The Black Heart, Camden

Watched the Grand National & FA Cup in here last Saturday after a day in the park. I found it to be a very comfy welcoming & laid back little boozer. I'll certainly be back soon.

The Duke (of York), Holborn

Superb. Bit out of the way but all the better for it. We encountered no problems with the staff and the interior was well worth the visit. Hope it stays like this for a while to come.

The Lamb, Bloomsbury

Visited on Friday and although it was heaving, well worth the trip.

The Lamb, Highbury

The best bar in the area without doubt.

The Union, Marylebone

Really good to find somewhere like this after looking for a decent post work pint venue for a while. Very cosy & attractive interior as well as reasonably priced drinks make it a winner.
