Good range of real ales and nice to see a porter available. More of a drinkers pub to my mind and quite modern in appearence.

The Bell Inn, Benington

Good food served with courtesy. Good beer - 4 real ales on. Lovely atmosphere, don't feel out of place or a stranger. Only criticism - only one ladies toilet.

The Chequers, Orwell

Good beer and good food but don't visit on a Bank Holiday / Weekend or any other time when it is a nice day as understaffed and under provisioned leading to disatisfied customers. Had to wait 1hour 20 mins for food on Easter Monday - Landlord left staff to deal with complaints and disappeared from sight.
