AVOID. It's overpriced (20 quid for 3 drinks, 30 quid for 4 drinks on the next round), really slow service. It gets one point cos you can stand outside.

The Skinners Arms, Kings Cross
Friendly staff, music and football quietly on in the background so we could chat for hours, food ok, beer choice ok. It's a good honest pub with plenty of room. I've been back a couple of times since.

Was ok, but is going downhill. They've stopped doing wheat beers which deprived a few friends of drinks and we now go elsewhere. Music is too loud inside, but it's nice to stand outside to talk with the few people who still go. I agree with Jethro, the Cat & Canary is suddenly looking a much better venue.

The Green Man, Great Portland Street
Bar staff were friendly when they delivered some other table's food to ours. Not too keen on eating it because we had been watching mice running around the edges of the room.

MICE!
It's not good to take a fine lady to a nice part of town and find mice scurrying around. We did tell the staff and ONLY IF the mice are all gone, I'd boost the rating up to 7/10.
Only go here if you're a cat.
