The Bell, Walton On The Hill

A very special pub that should really be listed. Not very many left like this. Well kept ales and very friendly landlord. Ideally you need to arrive wet and cold with a dog after a walk on the heath then sit by the fire for a few hours. Few people under 45 would understand.

The Kingswood Arms, Kingswood

Truly bad pub very overpriced drinks dreadful attitude from the landlord which permeates through the mainly Aussie SA staff. The place could be great, instead it's dirty, plays terrible lift music and serves mediocre freezer food. It has a massive catchment area and no competiton so they don't have to try. Desperately needs a change of owner so the present incumbant can retire and count his money.

The Norman Arms, Fulham

Fairly typical estate pub best visited after a few pints. Had music on Sunday night one older guy on guitar and identical twin teenage girls on keyboards, bass. Atmosphere was edgy but what do you expect. The manager seemed to have control of the place. It could be 1973 inside. Far better than rubbish chain boozers.
