The Willoughby Arms, Kingston Upon Thames
Never mind comments from bitter ex-staff (big_johnB), come to the St George's beer festival NOW ON (23rd to 27th April). Fuller's 1845, Wayland's and Twickenham Fine Ales are among the stars. Enjoy.

After my 1st visit since it changed, I have to admit it was fine. I say "have to admit" as I wasn't expecting to like it but the changes are inventive and the beer was lovely.

A good pub. Single bar with several separate rooms plus outside seating. Don't be put off by the flat exterior on the main road. Good (Charles Wells) beer, decent food too.

No beer in a Fullers pub? - yes, I know I'm repeating what others have said but the message obviously isn't getting through. I shall not return there until this ridiculous situation is rectified.

Visited yesterday - good pint of Flowers IPA, ales are currently 1.99 each, friendly service. An improved pub - well done.

A decent pint of Pride and good service. It's fine but not warm & inviting.

I can report that the Palmer's was lovely on Sunday. Decent food, too.

The Five Bells Inn, Whitchurch Canonicorum
Friendly, lovely beer (Palmer's), excellent grub, a warm shelter on a cold evening - splendid.

The keg bitters are appalling - whatever possessed them to get rid of real ale? It's a decent enough place with friendly staff & good food but the essential ingredient is missing!

The Adnam's Broadside was lovely last night. Apart from that, the place gives the impression of being unfinished.

The Brook House, Hayes
What's the point of a pub with no ale?
