True - gets busy on match days, but 'hooligan' tag a bit harsh. Only seen general high spirits whenever I've been in, same as all footy pubs.

Known as 'Drinkers' pub due to good rep for beer - lively atmosphere in Lounge whenever band / disco on.
Bar area quite smart with several TV screens for sport / TV buffs.

The Mitre Ale House, Nechells
Good boozer - good lager and Guinness. Plenty of live football via foreign satellite coverage, so they get a lot of games not shown by Sky etc.
