The George and Pilgrim, Glastonbury

That was without a DOUBT he best Karaoke I have seen, heard or been to EVER, absolutely stunning ! The landlady as I already knew goes without saying, she is an incredibly good singer, no ordinary singer for sure, whenever I hear this girl sing, I literally go cold with emotion, pins and needles etc etc, even cry sometimes...believe me when I praise her like this, it's real....she is for real. Then there was the other singers, I couldn't believe it because normally I HATE bloody Karaoke, but not this one, the general quality of last night's singing was absolutely excellent...there was one young lady in particular called Becky that really blew my mind...but all the others were unusually good...even the mad DJ I liked, (even though he referred to me as Harry Secombe) ! Ha ha ha the DJ was a wonderful load of fun, very charismatic and absolutely guaranteed that everyone was going to have a bloody good time. Bloody brilliant in every way !

The King Arthur, Glastonbury

Yeah, seems pretty good at last. Love the new girl that seems in charge, and the never ending music seems way above average. John Dalton and his harp are even better than ever, one of the most talented musicians ever really, incredible musician. Stairway to heaven on a harp, and it was BRILLIANT. Unreal ! I do wish however that John didn't have this weird need to rush round to the nearest vegetarian restaurant to tell them that unfortunately I'm not dead yet !

The Riflemans Arms, Glastonbury

Wow, that's more like it ! ! Must be under new management ? Attractive and friendly staff at last, and £11-50 for a bottle of wine will do for me any day...As for the music, I was stunned at how good it is. It is Blues of the highest standard one could ever hope for...The whole thing seems to be run by a highly talented man sat behind the drum kit of all things...he hits the bass drum in time with the music and so on, but his guitar playing struck me as world class. His choice of musicians that he calls up was superb, they ranged from the excellent "kid" on guitar to some seriously older kids ! The audience are a dream from the late 60's, me included.....then there's the excellent Suzi Quatro on bass, a right cutey pie and well capable...if she ever decides to sing us a song, even though this is not particularly blues, PLEASE make it "If you can't give me love".....by Suzi Q...See ya there soon...
