Bar Vin, Bournemouth

Nice place, never had a crap drink in there. Staff are pleasent. Good atmosphere, and is over 21's only which is a bonus.

There's more flies in that place than what hangs aroung an indian cows arse!! Do they import them or something. About time the place had a damn good clean.

Probably the only real pub in town. Never tried the food but it always looks great when it's taken out. I'm not a real ale drinker but I've never heard a bad word about the beer. Generally the staff are quite friendly.

The Tapp & Hobbit, Bournemouth

Absolute crap hole!! The place is really run down and filfy, which is a shame as it used to be a nice place for a drink. Don't use the toilets unless you want to catch something nasty. Can't say it was the best pint I've ever had but better than the surroundings. Generally the staff are ok, that is when they can be bothered to stop chatting and serve you.

Lovely little pub with a great atmosphere. The only thing I didn't like was that it gets extremely smoky in there - and I smoke, but I suppose that wont be a problem for much longer (smoking ban). But still a great boozer.

I agree, not the greatest of pubs. But it's ok for a (1) drink if your absoluty bored of every where else. Do seem to get the dregs of Bournemouth in there. Have eaten there twice albeit 3/4 years ago, pasto was ok, but the mixed grill was quite good. Agree about the staffing - i.e. never enough.

Good little bar, got on really well with the staff.
Got quite a few free samples from the extensive range of vodka! Which is always appreciated.
