| Are you sure about that Runningdog? Bar Med has closed and will re-open as a lloyds No 1 bar but as far as I'm aware wetherspoons have no designs on Bar Vin. As far as the comment by smash goes, it's fair to say that this is the best place on Old Christchurch Road because they look after the beer if nothing else but the best pub in Bournemouth? | Older crowd with strict door policy to keep the youngsters out. Reasonable staff. Decent drinks of all types. A good place to try out if you're new to Bournemouth and you want to avoid the puking louts. Toilets a bit grotty though. seasiderMM - 29 Nov 2007 12:56 |
