I was having a quiet drink in here last night, just going along minding my own business. I have been coming here after work for a quick couple of pints for the past two and a half years. The beer has always been in truly excellent condition and the place including the toilets are kept in a clean fashion.
However, the bar man last night was extremely stroppy and rude, f-wording this under his breath and c-word this clearly aimed at a group of men who were quietly having a few drinks at a table. It appears because they only purchased one bottle of wine and several half pints of something in perhaps the hour they were there the barman loudly went over to them and told them to leave as they were taking up a table. Taking up a table? The place was hardly busy and there were many empty tables! One of the chaps came up to the bar and asked for the manager. If the man who appeared was the manager then that is surprising as his torrent of abuse was just as rude as the barman.
I have never ever witnessed such outrageous and disgusting behaviour aimed towards a paying patron in any establishment.
And they obviously do not need the money. I sincerely hope that the business finds a time where it slumps into financial difficulty and all the rents, rates, and utility bills pile up and the business closes. What else could possibly teach such
petulant and contemptuous people a lesson.
I for one will never return and I shall be certain to spread the word among my work colleagues who occasionally frequent this place.

Absolute sty. Avoid at all costs.
Bar lady was selling cannabis and viagras to customers from behind the bar as well as warm bottles of supermarket branded beer.
She looked awful and her drunken behaviour was even worse.
Everything quite dirty and someone had done a large feces on top of the toilet bowl lid (rather than open it) and there were flies all around it and it stank.
Absoloute shit hole, if you'll excuse the unintended pun.

Council wont re-issue licence due to hidden surveilance a few weeks before last tennant was chucked out.
Enterprise inns are stuck now and will be having to sell it or demolish it. They should sack the person who made it lose its license forever.
The licence was only objected to and then refused hands down in the last meeting when the council found out Tony Spud who just got thrown out of The Mitre in Anerley was going to be running it.
Enterprise told the council a suitable, experienced and strong licensee was going to be taking it on. So when they got the paperwork submitted it was obvious they were not taking the council seriously.
Always been a rowdy pub and a place for dealers to meet. They were the ones keeping the place open tho I guess. Never bothered me and I previously f=drank there on and off for over 11 years

Absoloutely disgusting pub. Met colleagues for a sales meeting and had the misfortune of popping in here.
Dirty is not the word. Has to be the worst pub apart from the Mitre In Annerley in the UK.
The very fat scruffy bloke working behind the bar had a baby on the shelf behind the bar itself- I kid you not.
The beer was fucking awful. The glassware worse.
Shit and piss everywhere.
Gypsies urinating in corner of pub.
One foul mouthful of 'beer' and we couldnt wait to get out.

Jim and his boyfriend Mick along with his team have worked well to create a first class locals'pub that is also welcoming to visitors.
The beer is well kept, particularly the London Pride, and the food very good - if a little pricey. Greedy Fullers for you!

the owners have now got it being run by some college drop outs with no customer service skills at all. A pub that doesnt have any ales on because they have run out and no vodka. Food looked ok as i sat near kitchen but looks like the usual frozen Brake Brothers faye at premium prices. An annoying middle aged drunk chap at the bar still being served more alcohol(even tho he could barely stand) and putting everyone off with his foul and lewd mouth was enough not to bother returning to what could be a lovely pub with the right staff/owner.

Well that person the last two posts were about has been sacked as well as the manager woman who ive never even seen before. Sat at bar now having nice pint of Swan ale and being filled in on all the gossip by the barman !
Apparently its owned secretely by Greene King! Scoundrels.
