| Visited the Dolphin couple of times at the end of June 2008 when camping in Wallingford. The relatively small main bar is absolutely bedecked with foreign currency, Americana, chintzy trinkets, and Rolling Stones memorablia. Not to everyones taste but I quite liked it. We watched some of the Euro 2008 in here although it's a bit of a squeeze when they're palying darts. | Friendly staff and great inexpensive pub grub. Went a couple of times during the summer for food and beer. The Sunday Roast costs around a fiver and you can get a ploughmans for four. Beer's not the best but the food and staff make up for this. Worth a visit. rogergilljobs - 20 Aug 2006 20:45 |
