I love this pub, all sorts of people and goings on! GK IPA and Speckled Hen, I have the latter and is good. V. Friendly and helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

I like this place. I've been there pre and post baby. Felt very comfortable bringing the wee one in and breast feeding whilst they were quiet during the day. I only wish it was a bit bigger!

The Landlord drinks Guinness. From my user name you'll discern that this is of some importance. On some evenings, half of the imbibers are similarly partaking.

Luckily they have two taps.

And as Guinness drinkers are, by definition, more intelligent, this guarantees conviviality.

A cracking little pub with loads going one. Only Green King beers, but they are well kept. This pub stands out in a town with loads of pubs as a place where the landlord cares about the place. They even let you bring in your own food.

Fantastic pub, spent NYE there last week and had a great time.

Have not tried the ale on any of my visits so can't comment but the staff are really friendly and efficient which they often need to be as it can get very busy.

One of those places that is always making an effort to do something different with live music, events etc. and is all the better for it. Definitely worth a visit.
