We stopped in here on our visit to see my cousin in Truro. They had a very good selection of beer on tap and it I tried several and was very happy at how great it tasted. The people are very friendly, and the staff was fantastic. Next time we come back we will stop again. cheers

This pub is now under new management and has changed its self completely. Now sells a huge range of real ales (up to 6), and has a completely new menu of very good food cooked on the premises by the new chef Trevor.

Hi, this a most unusual comment as I haven't been to the Pub, but I wish I could. I live in Perth, Western Australia and have been researching my family name Bache and have just found out my ancestors lived in Kenwyn Street as listed in the 1841 Census. They left for South Australia, via Plymouth, a 3 month journey in 1948 - my Great Grandad was 4 years old apparently and one of 6 kids. With luck, one day I'll walk down Kenwyn Street and what looks like a very beautiful part of the world and drop in and have a beer(or 6!)and try to imagine the Truro of 1848. Cliff.

A top place. Good venue for live music and a friendly place for a quiet drink as well. Very nice interior and worth a visit if you're in the area.
