A cosy place, nicely decorated with lots of standing room and playing unobstrusive 80s music . Exactly what a Fitzrovia pub ought to be. sergeanthp - 27 Oct 2011 11:28
Another pub I’ve worked within spitting distance of for 5 years and never ventured in. Took the plunge for a leaving drink and was quite pleasantly surprised, the interior is very comfortable, old fashioned (in a good way) dark wood and red decor, a real, proper pub. It’s only Bass, Bass or Bass but it was well kept and very drinkable. A definite 6.5/10 Monkdawallydahonk - 5 Aug 2011 11:32
A cosy, comfortable, homely, Victorian-era refuge. Lovely, red-bulb-lit intimate corners contrast with vistas of the BT Tower and a window on the comings-and-goings on New Cavendish Street. A rare (unique?) place to enjoy draught Bass in W1 (but only Mon-Fri). A varied clientele and friendly Irish and eastern European bar service. SunnyGoodgeStreet - 23 Sep 2010 21:47
Dingey, gloomy corner house pub serving only a mediocre, medicinal tasting Bass on the ale front. Would not bother in future. Snarling_Mallard - 6 Sep 2010 19:44
Bass is still the only real ale available here. The interior is comfortable, with plenty of breweriana, much of it brass. Two TVs were showing a World Cup match on our Friday evening visit. Service was friendly. Nothing to write home about. But nothing particularly to dislike about it either. blue_scrumpy - 5 Jul 2010 19:04
