| Not a bad choice if you ever find yourself in Northwood Hills and it is right next to the tube station. It's a typical Wetherspoons open plan layout and had both plenty of staff and customers on our Thursday evening visit. Beers on were Greene King Ruddles Best & IPA, Courage Directors, Butcome Bitter, Adnams Explorer & Yuletide & Blindmans Mine Beer. Cider was Westons Old Rosie. One of Wetherspoons better offerings. blue_scrumpy - 20 Jan 2012 23:03 |

| I have just been in for a few drinks and have to agree with SirGeoffrey, I too believe that the beer availabilty has improved. The food too has improved as there is a new kitchen manager who works during the day. Looking forward to there October beer festival - starts this Friday (20th)!! Ktmadz - 16 Oct 2006 16:28 |
| Now has a new "over 21s" policy. The landlord says he's done it to get out the chavs and to try and make it the best pub in the area. He's also been notified that the pub will be in the "Good Beer Guide" for 2007 and has proudly put his "GBG" sicker in the window. I hereby uprate my rating to 9 (nobody, apart from Bo Derrick has a perfect 10!). SirGeoffrey - 14 Oct 2006 20:38 |
| Fastduck, sorry that your meal was bad. I only use the place as a "boozer" and my recent experience has been that things have improved since my previous comment. Much less "sorry not available" and since the new legislation the longer opening hours have meant greater hangovers! My advice would be to eat in restaurants and drink in pubs. Also, from previous experience, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a decent response from Wetherspoons customer service; I really don't think they are interested.
