| Well, i went into this pub on Sunday 03/08/2008 and it was really nice. Very friendly staff, nice looking ladies, a mix of clientelle and all very very friendly. Played pool, spoke to the locals, the landlord has increased the age to over 21 and the new landlord stands for no funny business. Depsite all previous posts it was a lovely friendly night with no sign at all of trouble, not even a hint of it, and the locals in there advised that they were sick of the trouble, but the 21 age seems to have quashed the problem..and the pubs been treated to a lick of paint too. | Poppped in briefly recently to see the improvements, it has had lick of paint and does not seem as bad as the last time we were there. Mind you anything would be an improvement on drug taking at the bar! It wasn't too bad and was reminiscent of the period about five years ago when it was quite a nice pub. | popped in here the other night, as the train had broken down. the young lads in there were very helpful in getting us a cab back home. staff behind the bar are very good looking. judging by the previous comments, much has improved. anonymous - 1 Nov 2007 14:35 |
