Lively Modern bar with the "Cheers" layout, real ale can be variable but has good intentions and local suppliers. live music and vibrant atmosphere make for a well run bar that respects its customers. A solid portfolio of bands that can sometimes have the place rarely kicking off.

Visited on a late Sunday afternoon - seems like a music-oriented place, perhaps more bar than pub, but decent enough with a couple of real ales and a nice riverside patio.

Being a Forest supporter, I love going to the South Bank for a pre-match pint. The atmosphere is always good.

Have been there in the evening when there was a live band on, & had a great time.

I haven't tried the real ales etc so I can't comment on that.

A good pub if you like football & music.

Just the sort of pub I like. Fairly busy, lots of Sky TV screens. Does not seem to attract some of the more dubious characters that frequent the Trent Bridge Inn nearby. My only criticism is the fact that one is not allowed to drink outside during the day due to some jobsworths bye-law.
