| Visited early on in the evening before i went to see James Morrison at the Trent FM Arena, a gorgeous little London-esque pub, which i was not expecting at all from the outside. They had scented candles on every table, lights dimmed, great music on (James Morrison) and the beer was delicious, my friend had wine which was a little pricy but hey! The toilets are painted like Cow-Skin, dead funky little touch. Shame it got mega busy and we had to go to concert because i could have stayed in there all night. charlottelenya - 5 Dec 2009 13:55 |

| Great pub! Has really turned a corner this year, friendly staff, great real ales and lovely atmosphere. Staff feel more like friends than barmen/women and are always accomadating. I hate to say it but this has really turned into a home from home, with fresh papers everyday, and a LCD TV strategically placed as not to ruin the atmosphere. Its the kind of pub you go to for a conversation, not just a drink. Caters for the MATURE student and working crowd! Great for meeting people!
