Found by accident while touring the lanes. Seemed OK but service a bit hit and miss. Beer OK but nothing special. Food prices looked OK and we'll try it one day to see what the quality is like.

Needs more work! Shame as it could be really good

Full of chavs from the local area. Avoid.

I think this is an estate pub. Big open plan McMullen house with the usual ales associated with that brewer. The Country ale was well kept and pleasant. Generally very clean bright pub. Unfortunately went in on a quiz night so it was loud girl on mike time. "Chain" feel pub that probably does its bit to keep the iffies away from the nicer pubs in Shenley Village. Can't see me going back to this one.

My last two visits have not been enjoyable at all, both were for meals at the weekend. NOT somewhere I would recommend

Yesterday (31/1) the place seemed to fill with very young children and their extended families. Adults sat at the tables chatting whilst their offspring literally ran amok, bumping into seated diners, waiters carrying food and people at the bar. Not once did the bar staff or manager, or come to that the adults, say anything about the distruption, although they did appear to be unhappy. At one point there were two children "wrestling" in front of the kitchen door.
