| Used to be my local when I lived on King Street with a friend. Regularly there during the week and the landlord's a friendly, approachable guy who runs a good little pub with a range of chilled lager. The food's good too, the staff are friendly and attractive (never does any harm) and, bar the odd boisterous suited chap, you could do far worse in the centre of Norwich. Downsides? | Smart and elegant looking bar with lots of comfortable seating for a relaxed feel with light easy listening music, good menu with a strong choice for both meat and vegetarian eaters. Newly refurnished garden Terrance, which is a super sun trap for those hot days and nights. Good bar selection from lager to wine with staff actually know what wine is good. All round Excellent pub.
