| Apparently one of a number of pubs being sold off by Adnams as a result of the smoking ban. Since Adnams specialize in premium real ales and previous posts suggest some customers here don't want good beer, this may end up being a good thing for the pub's future- it's always been an uneasy mix of good beers and noisy music, so under a new owner it may find a new identity as a music/young people's venue. edchambers - 7 Dec 2007 22:08 |

| The're doing what they can for live music in a tiny little gaff. Can't stand Adanams beer but lots of people seemed to like it. Well managed, limit to what they can do given the size constraint. The_Man - 1 Oct 2007 07:13 |
