| Ah, a cracking pub, with lovely views and good range of well-kept ale. Check out the huge t'uppeny coin stack at the bar, got told how much it was worth, but forgot to make a mental note of it in the beer fug. Well worth a visit. Quinno - 2 Apr 2008 18:56 |

| The Maypole is not easy to find and judging by the number of customers is very popular. Plenty of well kept beers but be a little wary of the food. Large quantities but a bit strange, the meat must have been on steroids. Jim.Jubbly - 15 Aug 2007 11:12 |

| The high point for many on our little jolly to Dark Star and back especially Big Baz who was almost crying when he walked through the door he loves it so much.
