Haven't been here for ages and regret it - great pub

The best pub close enough to walk to from the centre of town. Good beer, good food, special events, warm welcome, courtyard garden

A terrific pub. I have used this pub for 35 years and its always been good. An unspoilt public bar with stone floor, scrubbed tables and roaring real fire.
Fullers ales, breakspears are excellently kept. The landlady is very professional - she clearly understands the business she is in. Also there is an established Thai restaurant attached. Absolutely first class.
YOU MUST VISIT THIS PUB.

This pub has a really nice village location in an older part of town and is surrounded by a large stream. The interior has been kept in a nice condition, without the makeover that tends to spoil most old pubs. The only drawback is that the pub is a Fuller's pub. But alongside the London Pride, ESB and Chiswick Bitter, they did also have one guest beer - Brakspear Bitter. The pub also serves Thai food. I felt quite comfortable here.

Nice pub, lovely food at a nice price. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Good bar selection including a lengthy whiskey menu for the enthusiast.
