I'm used to London prices but even there, £3.70 would get half a raised eyebrow. The TT Landlord was in good condition granted, but the pub was average, pretty uncomfortable and the service not exactly with a smile. Cashing in on the location opposite the excellent Museum Of Science And Industry, perhaps. Sorry, but no thank you!

Went in to watch man utd in early october 2011 and there was about 15 or so empty seats up near rhe screen..as we went tosit down we got told by some people near them that they are taken?..then the landlady starts saying in a horrible tone that they are for the locals who are coming in to watch the match?. Always been first come first serve in any other pub i have ever been in, will never cross that threashold again ...let them have there little clique Plenty more better pubs in mcr city that sell a lot better beer at a lot better prices and where the landlords have no bad attitude....anyway the locals turned up just before ko for there reserved seats that could of been taken several times over ...joke of a pub....

What a good pub should be. Real Ale at a decent price and spot on. Loads of memerobilia on the wals, including photos of Cantana, Giggs and other greats visiting the pub. Convivial locals willing to extend a warm welcome and a dj playing not too loud music out into the beer garden..

Awful!
This used to be a great pub in a great location.
Now beer was awful, and £3.70 a pint of Timothy Taylors landlord in a plastic glass, a rip off even for a City Centre pub!

Went in 5th dec, football was on the big screen so the pub was very busy, good atmosphere and good ale tho. Either i was pissed or the pub seemed to have a victorian theme which was good.
