Still one of the best drinking places in Manchester. The food, now tried since last review, is top notch - the Chicken & Chorizo stew is worth a particular mention. Great selection on my last visit - Titanic, Millstone, 2 from Marble, Prospect bloomfieldjpm - 23 Jun 2009 05:30
Made my first visit last year and loved the place. Ever changing guest ales which were of great quaility (loved the Hornbean Lemon blossom) and during my time up in Manchester i can recmmend the food. Visited again this year and its still great...funny how my meetings end just as this gem opens!! 47458sf - 21 May 2009 16:13
Agree with everything ROBcamra says - a great pub/bar fully 1 minute's walk from Deansgate train and tram stations. NellySays - 15 Feb 2009 13:09
Great pub serving Marble Brewery beers and a couple of guests often from Pictish and Phoenix. Always a friendly welcome but can get very busy on Friday/Saturday nights. Always a well kept pint, also has draft Belgian beers. The spicy wedges are great, especially with a sweet chilli dip. One of our regular haunts in Manchester. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. ROBCamra - 13 Jan 2009 12:05
I was very impressed with this place and will undoubtedly be returning. A fine selection of ales and foreign beers all at very decent prices really. Sitting on the roof terrace, inspite of the close proximity to the railway line, was very pleasant. ChrisP87 - 9 Oct 2008 14:22
