Was unaware this little gem existed until I spotted in in the CAMRA guide. Everything a corner local (although it isn't actually on a corner) should be. A warm welcome - from a lovely coal fire and the friendly locals...and a sizzling offering of sausage baps (ooh er) from the cheery landlady. Well kept Timothy Taylor and Youngs bitter means that I'll be back...and impressing my friends with my local knowledge. Cracking. Alehound - 14 Dec 2011 19:54
Visited for the first time last night and were made immediately welcome. Staff and customers were friendly and 'real', just like the ale. Will be going here a lot in the future. Loses 1 point for being way more expensive than home (Midlands), but not the pub's fault!! kanturner - 27 Oct 2011 16:27
Excellent little boozer. Very small inside with a small seating area at the back (which feels like someones back garden). There are a few seats out the front as well which are a nice touch. There's a very friendly atmosphere in this place, not a huge range of beers but I had a very nice pint of Ordinary. Has a dartboard. Recommended. dyyony - 15 Jul 2010 17:13
Marvellous traditional English pub. Cloudy cider and a game of darts and Spurs top of the league. Fantastic. nickthefish - 22 Aug 2009 21:13
Good old fashioned Pub. Guinness is a bit pricey but well worth a visit Colin38710 - 2 Mar 2008 08:03
