The smoking areas are so vast and well cared for it's almost like the old days when you could smoke in a pub. Enormous screens for sport and though i've not sampled one myself the Sunday roasts look and smell delicious.

Where to begin - did not know about this pub before the refurb but as it stands now we have what is one of the best pubs in the Ealing area. This pub, without doubt, has the best smoking area in the world, wood decor in an oriental style - beautiful (disagree? - then you should have gone to specsavers). The bar staff are friendly partcularly the cute girl with glasses and the beer is not overpriced. Yes this definitely is an Irish pub, but one you feel welcome to enter into - my only task now is to try the food one day, but I suspect it will follow the high standards of the rest of the pub.

Overall 8.7/10

Been there quite a few times in the last couple of months. The area was definitely in need of a pub like this. Great food, good friendly service and well decorated. Will definitley be going back!!!

This pub is now "Flynn's Bar & Diner" after a serious refit a few months back!

The interior got a complete overhaul, as well as a new landlord and staff by the looks of things!

The dart board and pool tables have gone and it looks like they are catering for an older clientele, highlighted by the "over 21s only" signs that greet you on the way in.

There is a much wider menu and a very reasonably priced carvery which, when I went in for a pint last week, was offering a choice of lamb shank, beef, turkey and boiled bacon! It all looked delicious as well!

The ropey old beer garden at the back has been replaced by a covered timber framed seating area which is very cosey and, I assume, has been added for smokers!

Someone has obviously spent a lot of money on this pub, it looks clean and welcoming - although it was a little dark and I'm not a big one for guitars and violins up on the walls! I am sure it will be very popular with regulars and will attract a lot of trade with people working and shopping in West Ealing.
