| this pub has to be one of the worst pubs i've ever been in, and ive been in some right dumps. It's like going back 20 years! Bass mild on tap! never ever seen that before. | Sad as I am to see an old pub go to the wall I'm afraid it's more a case of putting this old friend out of it's misery and letting it go to the great pub crawl in the sky. It may be a bit early for a eulogy but this was once the best pub in town with an amazing trade, you could hardly get in the door at weekends but those days are long gone and it now attracts the customers most other pubs don't want.
