Been here a couple of times (usually half pissed at the time) and never experienced any problems. A worthy competitor to the JD Wetherspoon pubs close by. jdee - 17 Nov 2011 11:42
Difficult to be complimentary about this pub other than 4 better pubs nearby! Stonecoat - 6 Sep 2011 12:35

anyone who thinks service is bad was either unlucky or belongs in one foot in the grave. The blonde manager has now moved on never had anything but perfect service and courtesy from her this is cheap and cheerful it is a pub trying to out wetherspoons, wetherspoons. With their superior prices, service, and food this shouldn't be hard. Though showing signs it might be carlsberg now 5pp than the george. I've been visiting the area for 4 years and try and get in here on every visit. dougie59 - 13 Jul 2011 12:45
