| Have been drinking in this pub for a few years now and it's getting better and better. Very friendly guvnor and guvnoress, nice range of real ales, good food, and a great regular clientele, but very welcoming to newcomers. It's got a nice big garden with kids climbing thingie so you can dump the sprogs. Richard and Julia are always making improvements to the place. Recently added to the Good Beer Guide. | Large modernised pub with a friendly and welcoming smile from the 2 bar maids. Wooden floors run throughout and there are a large amount of tables, stools, chairs and a few leather sofas dotted about. Food served which is reasonably priced. Fairly dark decoration but there are many lights and coupled with windows throughout it makes the interior feel lighter than it is. Very interesting entrance through a vestibule style door. 3 ales on tap, I had a Brains SA which was good. Priced at £3.10 so there's no complaint on the price. | First visited on a Monday eve. I must confess I thought this place would be a dodgy rip off of All Bar One, but it topped it big time. This is a great place! Loved the live folk music. Toilets are spotless. 4 ales and 5 ciders = happy days!! Will defo be back. Viki247 - 17 Oct 2011 20:52 |
| Attended this pub for the first time twice over the past week and found it to be a friendly pub with a more diverse clientele than many. Ales were very well kept, including Brains SA and Rev James, Hoppit and Duechars. Food was very nice. Much to recommend about this place. JonW999 - 24 Jul 2010 19:44 |
| This pub seems to have something of an identity crisis. In big bold lettering high up on the front wall it is proclaimed to be the “All Inn One”, while above the front window is the name “Foresters”. My guess is that Foresters is probably the original “real” name, while the All Inn One is a sort of re-branding name. Anyway, this is clearly another pub that has been made over to such an extent that all its original pub character has been removed. The exterior is a chocolaty brown colour, and the pub sign is a parody of what it must once have looked like. Most of the interior walls have been painted a dirty grey colour. As you enter, the front bar is bar boarded and mainly furnished with red leather (or possibly fake leather) sofas with small, low tables. At the back on the right is a carpeted room with wooden tables, and chairs with no padding. The two rooms achieve a contrast. There is a cupboard of some sort by the window in the front of the pub, bearing a variety of magazines for visitors to read, but regrettably London Drinker did not feature among them. On the plus side, they did have three real ales on – Deuchars IPA; Adnam’s Yuletide; and Highgate Brewery Stocking Filler. I had a pint of the Stocking Filler, which was absolutely superb. This is not really the sort of pub I like, but they did have three ales on, and the one I had was excellent and at the wallet friendly price of £2.50 a pint. That’s a big plus.
