| The Pilgrim, Notice from the photo of the branch official giving the award to the landlord in the "news and ale" magazine that he is a regular in this pub, could this be something to do with the award? Have never seen in him any other pub in the branch area. | Beershot your bang on the nail.This branch of Camra in my view does not support the ind.pub landlord,why give this award to a chain pub ? they can stand on there own 2 feet !! The Good Pub Guide is the same a M&Butler pubs will get in yet a Landlord who`s working his nuts off to stay open gets over looked. Bah humbug This we find is an ok average pub no more no less.
