Nice, small little pub. My grandad actually drinks in there and the smell of the pine from the yard next door is refreshing. drink is not expensive. attracts lots of old people, wouldnt recomend a weekend night there but a quick quiet drink before catching the train is perfect mrs_newcastle - 9 Apr 2007 20:40
legendary pub, always a good time, cant be beaten, cheap game of pool. good for a lads night out as a warm up pub before they go out into uxbridge or london anonymous - 7 Dec 2006 17:15
Crappy tacky looking place. Hate walking past it at night, for fear that some drunken Irishman or Scotsman will run out and have a go at me, cos I know for a fact some of the regulars are quite fierce. But Im certainly not generalising, and great meeting point before a tube journey. About all I can say though! danmantanshameboutvan - 25 Sep 2006 11:52
Never been into this one this century [probably visited it, once, in about 1972!] Outside now seems run down. railtracksurvivor - 11 Jul 2005 15:42
Recently refurbished, and now much improved. This place was once a bit of a dive! However, it's not too bad now, improved atmosphere. Certainly a better option than the Master Brewer. Unfortunately, not exactly spoilt for choice round here though. jcf - 21 Feb 2005 13:00
